ENQUIRE

Sunil Pawar (UK)

Sunil Pawar is an exhibiting artist working across a broad range of outlets including painting, print illustration, fashion and digital,
providing a varied and progressive style of studio practice.

With one foot in contemporary pop art and another in traditional portraiture, Sunil Pawar has dedicated the majority of his life to
creating strong and powerful imagery. Pawar strives to explore the parallels and similarities between music sound clashes and classic
sporting pose with themes of battle and survival, the struggles and fights that we all face on a daily basis. This sense of overcoming
adversity brings a heightened tenacity to these vivid portrayals of strength and power with a considered sense of composition and colour.

Fans of his work include Junya Watanabe / Comme Des Garcons, Kelis, and (ahem) Kanye West.

He was born and bred in London town and is partial to a nice plate of pie and mash.
