ENQUIREGraduating from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2002 with a degree in Public Art and Design, Code FC has been active ever since as a Street Artist / VJ / Video Artist / Painter, with projects spread across art galleries, clubs and music festivals internationally.
His work typically involves site specific socio historical commentary, evident in his global street art practice which takes the form of travel diaries onto outdoor spaces, which are treated like sketch books. The artist’s trademark signature, which is the replacing of heads with super 8 camcorders, constitutes a commentary on urban life as spectator, rather than participator.
He is based in London, Bangkok and Ibiza and his work has been presented in galleries and art fairs such as Moniker, Scope Miami, Istanbul Contemporary, Apart Gallery , Wannenes Art Auction House, Graffik (London / Bangkok), C D Gallery, Westbank, Space 189 (Bangkok), Muse Gallery, The Other Art Fair, Mutate Britain, Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Secret Garden, Free Rotation, Gatecrasher, Shambala, L.P.M., and clubs in England and around Europe.
His work has featured on BBC World Brazil – BBC World China – CBC News Canada – Olympics New Service – Channel 1 Russia – NBC News USA – ESPN – Sports Illustrated – The London Evening Standard
And in Banksy Planet – New Street Art – Street Art London – London Graffiti and Street Art – The Mammoth Book of Street Art – Streetart Amsterdam – Benetton Imago Mundi Project.
