Born in 1971, Finn Stone has inherited all the exuberant energy, joy of life and strength of conviction of his Irish parentage. These qualities provide him with an inexhaustible source of inspiration, which he uses to great effect in his practice.

Having made his name early in his career as the designer of the world renowned Ball Chair, he has subsequently produced a vast and diverse range of design products, all of which embody his natural eccentricity, his perennial flamboyance and his expansive imagination.

Something of a sculptural harlequin, he creates work that challenges the banal, and transports the viewer to the artist’s multi coloured dream world, full of absurdity and laughter, where anything and everything is possible.
